Crew Lead (NC)

Job Title: Crew Lead

Role Overview: The Crew Lead is a vital member of our field operations, responsible for overseeing, managing, and supervising a crew of 3-5 members. This role serves as the bridge between project management and on-site execution, ensuring that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to our high quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Supervision: Lead and motivate a crew of 3–5 members, providing clear direction and hands-on support.

  • Quality Control: Ensure all workmanship meets company standards and client specifications.

  • Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and PPE requirements to maintain a zero-incident environment.

  • Project Coordination: Manage daily tasks, equipment staging, and material usage to keep projects on schedule.

  • Client Interaction: Act as a professional point of contact for clients on-site, addressing questions and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.

  • Documentation: Complete daily logs, safety reports, and time tracking accurately.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: Proven experience in construction or environmental services; prior leadership or foreman experience is preferred.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating heavy equipment and a strong understanding of field safety.

  • Leadership: Strong communication skills and the ability to train and mentor entry-level laborers.

  • Problem Solving: Ability to think on your feet and adapt to changing site conditions or project requirements.

  • Reliability: A valid driver’s license (CDL a plus) and a consistent track record of punctuality and dependability.

Laborer (NC & SC)

Job Title: General Laborer

Position Summary As a General Laborer, you are the backbone of our field operations. This role is perfect for hardworking, dependable individuals who enjoy physical, outdoor work and are eager to learn the trades within the construction and environmental services industry. You will support our Crew Leads and Operators to ensure projects are executed safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Site Preparation: Assist in setting up worksites, including equipment staging, loading/unloading materials, and ensuring a clean, organized environment.

  • Manual Labor: Perform various physical tasks such as digging, trenching, moving debris, and operating basic hand and power tools.

  • Safety Support: Strictly follow all safety guidelines and wear required PPE to ensure a safe environment for yourself and the team.

  • Equipment Maintenance: Assist in the basic cleaning and maintenance of tools and machinery to keep our fleet in top condition.

  • Operational Support: Support Crew Leads and Equipment Operators with any on-site needs to keep project timelines on track.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Physical Stamina: Ability to perform strenuous physical labor in various weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Work Ethic: A strong "team-first" attitude with a willingness to take direction and learn new skills on the job.

  • Reliability: Punctuality is essential. Must have reliable transportation to reach job sites or designated meeting points.

  • Communication: Ability to follow verbal instructions clearly and communicate effectively with the crew.

  • Requirements: A valid driver’s license is preferred but not required for entry-level positions.
